I'm just kind of busy. But, not forever. As soon as the first snow hits, I'll be footloose & fancy free...and probably bored. But, until then! I'm anything but! So, to catch up I'm doing a double-time-post! :D
First up....John & Stephanie! Stephanie and I acutally went to the same high school. Thanks to Facebook she found out what I'm doing now and how I only live an hour and a half away from her and her boyfriend/practically fiance/future husband. So, to Cinci they came for a Sunday afternoon of photo taking. All with the company of some gorgeous, fall lighting. Thanks, S & J for making the trip. Hopefully we'll see you all again next summer at our 10 year reunion! 8oP

Next up: The cutest little girl ever! Honestly, I'm not just saying this...she might be the happiest little girl I've ever met. You would have thought Disney was set-up on my lens. She LOVES pictures and I LOVED taking them. So easy.

I don't normally do this, but under her proofing section I had an 'out-takes' section. There were so many funny ones from the day. Just of her doing something that was hilarious. Case in point: we'd put the hat on, she'd gleefully take it off! We'd put the hat on, work really hard to distract her, I'd get the shot, she'd realize we were distracting her from the game and off the hat would come!

Although I'd like to forever forget this moment, I must blog about it. The shot above...I was literally taking it when I noticed that her body turned and then...I could see her hand. It took all of us only a split second to realize that she was leaning down from the stair to reach for something and it took only a fraction of a second for her to face plant into the stair below. There were literally 6 hands reaching and none of us got to her in time. It was terrible. I mean everyone heard her head slam onto the brick stair below. I knew for sure that our photo shoot was over for the day. I quickly explained to her parents that that was no problem and that we'd just meet again another day to finish up. I just knew that after that she was done for the day. But, within minutes I realized that she wasn't quite screaming like you'd expect any human to scream after such a fall. She was hurt for sure, but it was like she was just crying it off. Within minutes she sat her head up, smiled and then started pointing excitedly back to the stairs. That's how much fun she was having. Or she's just one tough little girl. I think it was a perfect mix of both. See below for the damage which does not give justice to her fall at all (can you see the giant bruise on her head & then the scratch across her eye?)!

Of course the rest of these photos have all of her accident war wounds Photoshopped out.
