A photographer's dream...fresh locations, ideal lighting and a gorgeous family of five. It was the type of shoot where even if the final photos were not perfect - the composition a tad off, the focus less than perfect, the exposure a stop or two too much or too little - they were perfectly beautiful because of the people in it.
Dear L family - what a beautiful family you are. I am so happy I had the honor of spending the morning with you all. Thank you for trusting me (again) to capture your love lives on camera.
p.s. to all my faithful blog readers - I posted a ton of photos because 1. they were hard to narrow down & 2. I'm making up for a bunch of recent photoless-posts. enjoy!
p.p.s. thank you for all of the sweet birthday wishes I received today. I am as happy as can be celebrating my birthday in California, surrounded by my family and sitting here with my stomach hanging over my keyboard. 8oP
One of my favorites from the day (click on picture to enlarge). My photography teacher would be so proud. She used to say, "you know a picture is in focus when you can easily count eyelashes". I will say that it's easier done when your subject isn't at the age of two. ;)
{these photos were taken at a Aglamesis Bro's Ice Cream shop in Oakley square - an L- family favorite hang out spot}
