Red Bull anyone?

I will have to say that the fancy pants photographers who do high fashion photography in a controlled lighting studio really have it the easiest. The hardest work, I must say, is chasing around a 1 1/2 year old who has found that the simple act of walking...or running is simply God's gift to humanity. Therefore, we should all do it at all times as if we were all hooked up to a Red Bull I.V. Oh, and if running wasn't fun enough, screaming at the same time is just about as fun as it gets...

I know there's nothing good about this next picture (except the lighting is quite stunning), but it really paints a good picture of what a photo shoot looks like with an 18 month old. Child working her way out of jail, Mom sighing because all she wants is one good picture with her daughter. This picture makes me laugh everytime I look at it...

Even with the chasing, grabbing, diving, and avoiding of bikers I think our time together was still very much worth it.

Mom wanted a sweet picture with her daughter and her very pregnant belly. Of course there was no running involved so we knew it wasn't going to come easily. Our trick: put goldfish on mommy's belly. ;)

Thank you, A, R & A for letting me photograph your family again. No matter what, it's always fun for me. :) Looking forward to meeting little Luca...
