Although most photographers simply put a video on their blog with their shot wedding pictures, I've instead taken up my entire first page. I can't help myself. It's not only my very first wedding, but it's my family. Now, that I'm home sorting through all the pictures, I'm happy with what was captured. Of course, almost every shot could have been just a bit better, but the bottom line is that Zach & Natalie's big day was frozen in time and that is the sole purpose (and beauty) of photography.
I’ve said again and again that I AM NOT A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER, but there is something very intimate and humbling about being invited (and paid) to be the sole person to be there when every small detail unfolds. As I’ve been sorting through the pictures, editing the ones that stick out to me and piecing together their day I have found myself opening up a bit more to wedding photography. Not exclusively, but maybe I’ll just pick up a few jobs this year. If you’re looking for a photographer, send me an email. Let’s chat.
