"You Learn Something New Everyday"

...at least that's what my dad used to always say. ;) So, in case you don't already know this fast fact, here's your one thing for the day:

Lunar Eclipses happen when the Earth comes perfectly in between the Sun and the Moon. Due to the Earth's atmosphere it casts a shadow on the Moon making it look reddish/orange. Tonight at 10:26 I stepped outside for the big event and sure enough there it was, in all its wonder. {This is when I wish I had one of those mega-zoom lenses...} If you missed it, then hang tight - the next one is expected to occur in December of 2010.
