What shoud we wear for pictures?

Depending on where you want your pictures taken can depend on what you might want to wear. But, no matter what I can give this advice. Mom's, wear whatever makes you feel beautiful, dress your husband in something comfortable and dress your kids in clothes they wear normally. As far as colors, they do not have to all be the same. Actually, I prefer that they don't. Pick colors that coordinate, but don't worry about being too matchy. Also, one more suggestion - dress in colors that compliment you.

How should we prep for our picture day?

Family pictures are a big deal and of course you want everything to be just perfect. That is totally normal. Having that said, try your hardest to not get stressed on picture day. Your kids will feed off your energy. Instead, look at it like a day at the park with the family (there just might be paparazzi there following you around ;)). Make sure to give your kids a light snack before coming and if bribes work than bring them along! If your child gets sick right before or on the day of, we'll reschedule. It's hard to get happy pictures of a sick child.

What happens after pictures are taken?

After pictures are taken, I go home sort through them all and pick out the best ones for further editing. I aim to have all your pictures up for viewing 2-3 weeks after your photo shoot.

Can I see what a final product might look like from another familie's shoot?

Absolutely! On any artist's website, they put their best and favorite work. So that you can have an idea of what a finished product might look like for you, click here, go to 'proofs' and then type in appleton for the password. For this family we took pictures at a park near their house and also some in their living room.
